It has gradually dawned on all of us that there is a shortage of electricians in the job market. However, it is difficult to find educated people if no one takes interns and makes sure to give them a good and healthy education. We ourselves have been bad at taking in interns and students, but we have changed that now!
During 2017, we have been very conscious of being present in the local community, which is one of the reasons why we have taken in as many as 6 interns.
Our trainees come among others from the Business Academy Southwest and Rybners.
For part of August and September, we have had Mathies Toftgård from Rybners’ Electrician education, where he followed our electrician Per closely, to learn what it is like to be an electrician for the industrial sector.
In addition, we set ourselves to become more digitized and put more emphasis on our image and branding, therefore we are currently having two marketing trainees and a web developer help us in that aspect.
“The electrical profession is an incredibly exciting profession, whether it is within the development of business or it is the installer’s work itself, and therefore we naturally want to show it to the young people.” Says Thomas West, CEO, TS Tech.
In the future, we will not reduce the number of trainees we take in, possibly the opposite. So, if you are reading this and are interested in becoming an electrician or electrician for the B2B industry, feel free to contact us.
