Translated from the Danish Wikipedia entry

The “green transition” is the Danish term for all global measures – from the public and private sectors and the business community – which aim to avert, limit or postpone the consequences of global warming (in English this is called “climate change mitigation”).

The transition mainly involves reducing man-made greenhouse gas emissions, partly (in particular) by phasing out the use of fossil fuels and instead basing the energy supply on renewable sources of energy, and partly by removing carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases from the atmosphere, using processes like afforestation.

But the green transition also involves changes in behaviour in terms of consumption (such as increased recycling or more gentle production methods), as well as a changed approach to growth, in addition to adapted taxation rules.

From TS TECH

When we talk about the green transition, it is with particular focus on work involving energy islands, PtX systems, onshore power plants for ships, energy efficiency and storage of power from solar panels, etc.

We have a defined role and are involved in partnerships with stakeholders who project and run the tasks.

Onshore power plant. There is a need to establish onshore power plant facilities to meet requirements for reduced emissions and noise when ships are in port. We have considerable experience in this area and are already contributing both nationally and internationally.

We supply solutions for storing electricity/large battery systems for companies. This is often in connection with the establishment of electric charging stations for cars and combined with solar cell systems/hybrid systems.
