Trust, honesty and professional pride

On a beautiful summer day, we paid a visit to the construction site of DIN Forsyning in Esbjerg. DIN Forsyning is building the world's largest CO2 refrigerant-based heat pump with an output of 50 MW to convert the current coal-based district heating production to climate-friendly environmental green district heating for 25,000 heating customers in Esbjerg and Varde in Jutland and Nordby on the island of Fanø.

During our visit, we met up with operations manager Henrik Hagen to discuss the ongoing collaboration between Din Forsyning and TS TECH.

Henrik talked about how it all started. TS TECH had tendered to start up and build construction preparation for the entire (large and very impressive) construction project. During this work, TS TECH had displayed considerable professional pride and a very professional approach to the work they were doing and always adopted a proactive approach when it came to proposing solutions as part of the task. This approach would be the precise basis for a good collaboration.

After this start-up task, things suddenly started to move very quickly and the collaboration was escalated to include tasks such as heavy machinery installation in connection with the boiler plant as well as the wood chip plant, the UPS supply for the same plant and much more.

Henrik told us with a satisfied expression on his face and an equally satisfied-sounding voice that he is incredibly happy about the collaboration. Everything and everyone, from the guys out on the site, to the foreman, project managers and the management behind TS and the concluded agreement have more than fully satisfied Henrik's wishes and expectations. The word “TRUST” is used many times during our conversation. Henrik also highlights the systematic approach to solving tasks as well as our honest way of doing things as just some of the positive aspects of the collaboration. 

Finally, Henrik adds with a smile that “everyone is so blooming polite, no matter whatever it is that I ask them to do”.

From TS TECH’s point of view, we note the words “trust, honesty, professional pride” as terminology that we are obviously incredibly proud to be associated with and consider to be a proud tradition to continue and make stick in the future, no matter how large or small or how global or local the task.
