GWO Crane & Hoist (C&H) Solutions
At TS TECH, we develop plug-and-train solutions that allow training centres to deliver the GWO Crane & Hoist (C&H) Standard without the need for heavy cranes, large installations, or complex infrastructure.
Our Crane & Hoist Solution provides a realistic, hands-on training environment focused on both operation and maintenance of fixed small cranes and fixed hoists — all within a compact, instructor-friendly setup.
Covers the Full GWO Crane & Hoist Standard
Crane & Hoist – Inspection and Maintenance
This module equips participants with the competencies required to inspect, maintain, and test fixed small cranes and fixed hoists in compliance with relevant legislation and manufacturer inspection and maintenance manuals.
Training covers:
- Identification of crane and hoist components
- Visual and functional inspections
- Preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
- Testing procedures according to manufacturer documentation
- Reporting, documentation, and compliance requirements
The objective is to ensure participants can verify and document that equipment is safe, functional, and compliant.
Crane & Hoist – Basic User
This module enables participants, as basic users, to safely operate common types of fixed cranes and hoists in a WTG environment while following manufacturer manuals, relevant documentation, and legislation.
Training covers:
- Safe start-up, operation, and shutdown of fixed cranes and hoists
- Understanding and use of operating manuals and procedures
- Execution of basic, routine lifting tasks in controlled scenarios
- Risk awareness and safe behaviour during operation
- Communication and coordination during lifting activities
The objective is to ensure participants can operate equipment safely and responsibly within the scope of their role.
